Drawbacks of Earning Money Online

Earning money online is quite difficult and there are quite a lot of drawbacks too. There are quite a lot of ways of earning money online, and the more time you put in, the more you can earn. You also need to use your time wisely, so if you're working on something that makes you cents/pennies, try to put the same time in working with something that earns dollars for you.

1.It's Unpredictable
Some days are good, and some days are bad. Some days you think that you're quite close to the target, and some days you feel exhausted from the effort.

Sometimes you anticipate a payment and it isn't sent for some reason. Sometimes, you receive an email saying that your application has been accepted and sometimes you receive email saying it has been rejected (affiliate).

Then again, your site may be ranking well one month, and then Google decides to slap your page rank, and wham! And you thought you had it made!

2.Too much to do, too little time
In my case, sometimes I really get frustrated with the amount of work there is to do. An ideal day is the one in which I write atleast one good post on both of my blogs, update my squidoo lenses and hubs, update my website, do the daily clicks on the cashback sites, replace the banners ... the list goes on and on. It is a lot to expect from oneself.

3.It is Stressful
When you go to work, there are fixed times. Once you come home, you can unwind and relax and forget about work. But when you're earning money online, it's difficult to take breaks.

4.Sense of Isolation
When you're working online, you feel a bit isolated and tired as there aren't many people you can interact with. You do make good friends online though, like I have made a great friend in London and we discuss ideas.

5.Long wait / Minimum Payouts
There are long waits before you get paid. Also, different payout dates for each company. It feels good to receive money every day, but then again, it takes forever to reach payouts at times.

6.It's Risky
Companies may decide to delete your account, or cancel your account due to no fault of your own. It can be very disappointing and can hurt your earnings too. So, make sure you read all the Terms and Conditions to protect yourself, and research thoroughly before trying to promote a company. Also, there's always a risk of the company closing down or disappearing overnight.

7.It's very Competitive
While t's true that there is a lot of competition in all fields of work, but in this field, the competition is really tough as you're up against thousands of bloggers and webmasters worldwide, trying to achieve more sales, more popularity, visitors etc.

8.It's Addictive
It can be extremely addictive until you want to spend every spare minute on it.
